A Solar Academy On-site Training Event

In November 2017 the Centre for Sustainable and Renewable Energy Studies (CRSES) hosted the SHC Solar Academy’s first onsite training. The 3-day specialized course on Solar Heat for Industrial Application was attended by 50 stakeholders from various sectors, such as government, private sector, universities, industry and other SOLTRAIN partners. The course was lectured by Christoph Brunner, head of the Department of Industrial Processes and Energy Systems at AEE INTEC, Austria and the Operating Agent for SHC Task 49: Solar Heat Integration in Industrial Processes, which has ended and for SHC Task 62: Solar Energy in Industrial Water and Wastewater Management, which started in 2018.
